PRIDE 5K Run and Walk

Sunday, June 24th, 2018 at Tower Grove Park in St. Louis

Start: 8:00am at the Pool Pavilion (located on Center Circle Dr)

The Pride 5K is the annual fundraising effort that sustains St. Louis Frontrunners’ year-round nonprofit endeavors. For nearly 20 years, St. Louis Frontrunners, as the local chapter of International Frontrunners, has sought to provide an outlet where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) individuals and allies can come together under the common goal of a healthy lifestyle through running and walking.

Race Medals will be given to the first 500 runners/walkers who complete the race!

Registration rates are as follows for the Pride 5K 2018:

Early Bird Registration: Registration Open - April 30th: $25
Regular Registration May 1st- June 1st: $30
Late Registration June 2nd- June 24th: $35

Virtual Racer

Race Medal Design

If you are not attending STL Pride 2018, but would still like to participate in the event, there is a Virtual Race option available in the registration system. As a virtual racer you can run at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, or run outside at your own pace in your own town. Registration rates are the same for the virtual racer. We will send you your shirt and race medal in the mail!

Awards

Registrants are able to select their gender identity as female, male, or transgender. Additionally, competitors are able to select which gender they would like to compete for the age group categories. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers (male & female) in each age group.

Course Information

We are happy to be hosting again in Tower Grover Park. The past 2 years there have been amazing and we love the shade the trees provide on the hot summer mornings we typically have in June in St. Louis. The race route will be in Tower Grove Park St. Louis starting and ending at the Pool Pavilion. The Pool Pavilion is located in the center of the park at the intersection of Center Cross Drive and Main Drive. The race will start at 8:00am. Strollers and dogs are allowed, but we ask that participants with either start at the back of the pack for the safety of the other runners.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up is Saturday, June 23 from 11am-5pm. We will be located in the Athletes' Village at the Pride Festival, Booth 78. You may also do race day pick-up at Tower Grove Park from 6:30-7:30am.

Race Swag

The 2018 registration includes:

- a technical material short sleeve tee (unisex and youth sizing available),

- bib for each participant,

- chip timing provided by Fleet Feet,

- a finisher's medal for the first 500 runners/walkers who complete the race.
